Brautigan and Tuck Holdings was founded in the virtual world of Second Life in October 2006. CEO, IntLibber Brautigan had a vision for a virtual world built on the principles and vision of Neal Stephenson in his novel Snow Crash, where a free-market ungoverned future was possible through contract law and personal accountability. What is Second Life? Second Life, aka SL, is a 3 dimensional virtual world with fully functional economic tools, like a currency exchangable for real world currencies in both directions. Users of SL, via their 'avatars', can build buildings, script programmed objects, upload textures, music, 3D models, and animations, clothing, furnishings, vehicles, or anything else you can imagine and use, buy, and sell them in a free and open market unfettered by real world regulations or taxation. The power of these tools make the software of Second Life a fantastic place for real world businesses engaged in e-Commerce already on flat 2-D websites to bring the brick and mortar back into the internet. With 3 dimensions, businesses can create 3D models of their real world products for people to examine in greater detail than is possible in a flat 2D webstore. They can try out virtual versions of those products in the simulated environment, either buy them, or be given them as promotional items to help build brand loyalty for your existing customers. As an example, Nissan gives out virtual copies of its Sentra car for free to build brand awareness. These capabilities mean that SL is becoming the next phase of the internet, an evolution from web to a grid, or 'metaverse', from 2 dimensions to 3. In SL you can interact with others in real time, via text chat or voice discussion. You can view media presentations with customers and colleagues, tele-conference or video-conference your global staff, something many companies are doing already, such as IBM. What is Brautigan & Tuck Holdings? BNT is primarily a property development company which has operated since its inception in SL since October 2006, and now operates 42 'sims' in SL. Tenants can purchase land in any of the Ancapistan estates and maintain viable businesses and organizations in highly polished and professional environments. BNT is second to none in customer service and orientation to the metaverse that is known as Second Life. In addition to property development BNT is a true conglomerate holding company, with several subsidiaries, like Ng Security, Stone Brewery, BNT Construction, BNT Designs, Major League Combat, New Atlantis Wedding Acropolis, and Cosa Nostra Pizza Company. BNT also hosts the Ancapistan Capital Exchange, where residents have a chance to make Linden Dollars by investing in Second Life companies, trading their stocks, stock options, as well as currency and land futures. Business developers can list their companies on the exchange, under the standards of the SL Exchange Commission, to raise capital for growth in a micro-cap setting. Residents can enjoy their profits by exchanging their Lindens (L$) for US Dollars or other real world currencies via the ACE Currency Exchange. Many residents of Second Life make their livings off of their business activities in SL. With creativity, hard work, and a little luck, you can to. Those who wish to save their money in-world can open an account with BNT Financial, which offers demand accounts, certificates of deposit, in-world credit cards, and real-world L$ to USD debit cards. BNT is a registered Second Life developer, signified by the SL logo to the left. You can safely and securely register to join SL via our own registration page, and when you log into SL you will be treated to BNT's Orientation Island, the most advanced immersive educational experience in SL. The BNT Grid, part of the Second Life Grid, currently encompasses its estates of Ancapistan and Surreal BT. Corporate customers seeking a premier site hosting firm to develop and manage their facilities can do no better than to hire BNT. Facilities built for BNT corporate clients have garnered rave reviews, from the Ginko Dome, to the Salutaris Convention Center, Stone Brewery, Metaverse Television, and even the Spanish Army runs a highly successful recruiting center/training simulation base in our sims. BNT is all about business, we understand business, the needs of business. We strive every day to provide the most professional climate for our customers and residents to engage in business in our sims |
